I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year holiday.  Ours was packed full of our children and grandchildren, skiing, a birthday celebration and Natalie's surgery.  She is recovering well and I was able to ski Saturday alone with my husband which was a real treat.  It's great having a family as large as ours, but it means we aren't alone very often.  After Natalie's surgery we spent time at my oldest daughter's house in Big Cottonwood canyon in Utah- That felt like a vacation to me!
Here are some of our highlights

Jane, one of our granddaughters in her Christmas hat

My great-grandmother's traditional gingerbread cookies

John and I skiing in Idaho at Bogus Basin- all of the family was with us that day

Our beautiful white Christmas

Natalie's 17th birthday celebration

One of my oldest daughter's pregnancy photos- we stayed with her over New Years

With another daughter, Jessica for a totally amazing 5 course New Years' Eve dinner

Lobster appetizer

Second course was a fantastic foie gras dish
Our day alone at Brighton- I hope your holidays were wonderful as well- I'm looking forward to a healthy and happy New Year for everyone!  Back to fashion this week!
